On November 4, 2009, Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi met with a U.S. business delegation headed by Andrew Liveris, chairman of the U.S.-China Business Council & chairman and chief executive officer of the Dow Chemical Company. Former U.S. Secretary of Commerce William Daley, as well as heads of big U.S. companies including Coca-Cola, Motorola, ACE and Timken were present at the meeting. Both sides exchanged views on China-U.S. relations and China-U.S. economic and trade cooperation.
