    The press center of the World Media Summit opened here on Wednesday, Oct. 7, offering news services to reporters from home and abroad.

    The press center, located at the second floor of Beijing News Plaza Hotel, runs until Oct. 10 afternoon.

    The summit, themed "Cooperation, Action, Win-Win and Development", will be attended by several leaders of major media organizations, including news agencies, newspapers and magazines, radio and television broadcasters and online sites.

    More than 100 overseas media and 40 domestic media have registered to attend the three-day summit from Oct. 8 to 10. And over 300 reporters are expected to cover the summit.
