Premier Li Keqiang and Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev spoke positively of the outcomes of the 24th Regular Meeting between Chinese Premier and Russian Prime Minister. Li Keqiang said, this year marks the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relationship between China and Russia. Under the current circumstances, maintaining sound and stable development of bilateral relations is in the interests of both sides and also conducive to seeking well-being for the progress of human civilization. China-Russia practical cooperation is characterized by comprehensiveness, broad areas and high level. The two sides' cooperation in traditional spheres like energy is making new breakthroughs, and our cooperation in new areas like cross-border e-commerce and scientific and technological innovation is also constantly presenting new highlights. It is hoped that the two sides will actively explore deepening refinery and petrochemical integration, and increase the added value of energy cooperation to help realize the goal of doubling bilateral trade as scheduled. Both China and Russia support multilateralism and free trade. China is furthering opening up with its manufacturing sector fully open now. Russian companies are welcome to seize the opportunity and actively invest and start business in China. The two countries should better achieve mutual benefit, win-win outcomes and common development by opening up more to the world and to each other. Both countries should take the year of scientific and technological innovation in each other's country in 2020 and 2021 as an opportunity to tap into cooperation potential and promote the upgrading of bilateral cooperation in scientific and technological innovation.

Dmitry Medvedev said, Russia-China comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination has entered a new era currently, and the two sides maintain close dialogue and communication with practical cooperation in various areas achieving new results. During the regular meeting, the two sides signed a slew of cooperation agreements in a wide range of areas. The Russian side stands ready to work with the Chinese side to expand the priority of bilateral cooperation from traditional energy to high-tech to constantly inject new impetus into Russia-China comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination for a new era.
