At the invitation of Governor-General Bob Dadae and Prime Minister Peter O'Neill of the Independent State of Papua New Guinea, Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah of the Negara Brunei Darussalam and President Rodrigo Duterte of the Republic of the Philippines, President Xi Jinping will pay state visits to the above-mentioned three countries from November 15 to 21 and meet with leaders of the Pacific Island countries that have established diplomatic ties with China in Papua New Guinea. At the invitation of Prime Minister Peter O'Neill of the Independent State of Papua New Guinea, President Xi Jinping will attend the 26th APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea from November 17 to 18.
