Wang Yi: China Adheres to Non-interference in Other's Internal Affairs and Other Countries Should Not Interfere in Other Countries' Internal Affairs
2018-09-27 08:52

On September 26, 2018 local time, in response to the United States (US) side's claim at the United Nations (UN) Security Council that China is now interfering in the elections of the US, State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi stated at once that China has all along adhered to the principle of non-interference in other's internal affairs. This is a tradition of China's diplomacy, and has also been widely acclaimed by the international community. We did not, do not and will not interfere in the internal affairs of any country, and we do not accept any groundless accusations made against China. We also urge other countries to follow the purposes and principles of the UN Charter, which forbids interference in any nation's internal affairs.
